1. Can I trust Cinehollywood?
Cinehollywood was the first Italian company to distribute home-video titles in 1977 and the first to produce non-fiction DVD Video (1999). With a catalogue of more than 800 titles, Cinehollywood covers the main non-fiction topics: history, art, science, nature, travel, sports, wellness and a cartoon section with famous characters like Peter Rabbit and the Smurfs. Cinehollywood exclusively represents in Italy prestigious international TV networks and producers, such as Discovery Channel, History Channel, Duke Marketing, The Open University.
In 1989 Cinehollywood started its mail order activity which was developed throughout the years and now represents one of its most important distribution channels.
Cinehollywood also gained the “Contratto azzurro” quality brand thanks to its reliability and fairness. Today Cinehollywood has more than 70.000 mail order customers.

2. How can I purchase?
It’s very easy: you can put “in the basket” the items you wish to purchase, clicking on the icon next to the items.
In this way the summary of your selected items will appear on the top right column. In any case you can always verify what there is inside your basket, clicking on the basket icon of the menu at the top of the page. At first it is very important that you show whether the items must be shipped within or outside Italy. In you want, clicking on Foreign deliveries, the related page of the basket will be downloaded to follow the needed instructions, by.
To place an order in our website you must be registered and logged in.
There are then three easy steps to carry out the order.

1. PRODUCTS
In the shopping-basket, you find for each item: quantity, price and possible discounts.
To modify the quantity of an item, insert the number of requested copies and press the button "update”
To delete an item, select the related box "delete" and press "update".
To delete all the products in the basket press the button "delete all".
To add other products in the basket, you can continue shopping, pressing the button "add to shopping basket” for each selected product.
To insert a discount coupon, type its code number in the related box and then press "update ".
It is always possible to reach this summary page by clicking the word "il mio carrello" on the right-top bar.

2. SHIPMENT AND PAYMENT
The second step of the shopping-basket is accessible only to logged in customers. Here it is possible to verify or change the shipping address and choose the form of payment.
Please check question 8 for detailed information on forms of payment and shipping costs.
After filling in the form, press the button "proceed" to go to the summary page of your order.
In the summary page it will still be possible to modify the shipping address, the content of the basket, and the form of payment, before the final confirmation.

3. SUMMARY AND CONFIRMATION
This is the last step. Here are summed up the shipping address, the form of payment and the amount to be paid, including shipping costs and possible discounts.
If all the data are correct, press the button “confirm” to send the order.

8. How goods are shipped?
We ship worldwide via REGISTERED MAIL (Poste italiane), which is trackable and grants deliveries all around the world within 5 days. Shipping costs are as follows:

9. If after 15 days goods have not been delivered, what should I do?

10. When can I assert the withdrawal right?
It is possible to assert the withdrawal right within 14 days from the date of the receipt of the goods. The withdrawal must be sent via registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. If the withdrawal is sent by fax, it must be confirmed with registered letter within 48 hours after sending the fax. The goods must be returned within 14 days from the sending of the registered letter, with transportation costs at sender's charge to:

N.B.: For the audio-video or software products wrapped in chellophane which had been opened by the customer, the withdrawal is not applicable: the packaging of the goods must be completely untouched, including the chellophane wrapping and the SIAE sticker.
If the withdrawal right is exerted according to the provisions of the law, Cinehollywood will reimburse the amount paid by the customer within 14 days from the receipt of the returned goods.

11. Are there shops where I can buy these items?
You can find all the products only at Cinehollywood premises, at Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani 8 – 20125 Milan - Italy. However, as there is not yet a proper shop, we suggest to order the items by phone and come to pick them up after the Customer Care Office has confirmed the order. A selection of Cinehollywood programmes is available at Blockbuster (in Italy) and in the best video-clubs, book-shops, toy-shops, motor-accessory shops, computer-shops, department stores and Post Office Shops. 12. Are Cinehollywood’s programmes all in Italian?
All the DVDs and Blu-ray Discs sent by Cinehollywood are in Italian with the exception of the titles listed in the “Titoli Duke in inglese” category. Most of the DVDs and Blu-ray Discs have two audio tracks: Italian and English. You can find all of them in the “English area”. In each item description you will find all the technical information about audio and subtitles.

13. Which is the difference between a DVD and a Blu-ray Disc?
Blu-ray Disc is the new generation of optical discs with high capacity. Each disc can contain information up to five times higher than a DVD; that means that it is possible to store high definition digital video, audio, images, games and files.

Thanks to its higher capacity (25/50GB), it can store high definition 1920x1080 (Full HD) films against the 720x576 of a DVD.
The audio is also enhanced, which can be up to 7.1, in TrueHD quality.

To watch a Blu-ray Disc it is necessary to have a Blu-ray player or a PS3 console and a high definition HD TV set, better if Full HD.

As concern the Region Code, also for the Blu-ray (like the DVD) there are various area codes and a player set for a region cannot read a disc of another area. Most of Cinehollywood Blu-ray Disc is Region Free which means that the Disc can be viewed all over the world. Such informaton is however written inside each item description

14. Are there products also available in SECAM or NTSC standard?
No, all programmes are in PAL standard.

15. If I buy a product, does this mean I will have to buy more products in the future?
No, this is not a club. So, if you buy a Cinehollywood product, you are not obliged to buy other products in the future.

16. What can I do if the item is faulty?
Cinehollywood guarantees the replacement of all its products having manufacturing defects.
Before returning the product please make the following checks:

- The DVD/Blu-ray matches with what is written on the sleeve ?
- The DVD/Blu Ray has scratches or marks on the bottom side which might make it unreadable ?
- Clean with a soft cloth (not a woolen one) the DVD/Blu-ray surface
- Play the DVD/Blu-ray with another player or with the PC

If after such checking,the found defects are still present, or you still can’t view the DVD/Blu-ray, please contact our Customer Office to communicate the defect calling the phone number +39-02-64415380 or via email : contatti@cinehollywood.com
The customer office will direct you whether to return the product or not.

If the defect is confirmed you can send the product to Cinehollywood – Via Padre R. Giuliani, 8 – 20125 Milan, indicating also the defect.

It is highly recommended to use Priority Mail, but you can use the prepaid delivery service you wish. No cash on delivery are accepted (Cinehollywood will reimburse the cost of the shipment with Priority Mail only).

After receiving the product, Cinehollywood will check the DVD/Blu-ray and, if the defects are confirmed, you will receive another copy and with the reimburse of your cost to return it.
